Submission of Papers

01/10/2017 at 11:53 PM

The conference is soliciting Full papers (6 pages) on all aspects of the above research areas. Submitted papers will be evaluated on significance, originality, technical quality, and exposition. They should clearly establish the research contribution. All accepted papers will be provided an oral presentation at the conference. Each paper needs to be reviewed by at least three PC members or experts in the field.

Format Guidelines: We encourage submission in IEEE CS style format (8.5x11in). (See the IEEE CS home page:). All papers must be submitted in PDF format.

Submission of papers for Review

We solicit research and experience papers as well as research-in-progress and practitioner reports in any of the technical areas listed under Scope and Topics. Submit your paper via the web-based conference management system following the instructions below:

  • First, please review the CPS Publishing PDF specifications
  • Go to the Conference Management System and follow the instructions on the “Electronic Submission Page”; that it takes you to.
  • The file that you submit should include the paper title, abstract, keywords, and an introduction followed by the body of your paper. The author’s name and address MUST NOT appear in this file. This is to facilitate a blind review.
  • Upload your full paper in two column format (not to exceed 10 single-spaced pages) via the web-based conference management system in PDF format, or you can submit your paper in the final manuscript format.
  • The format of the final manuscript should be in a two-column format and 6 pages in length. Up to an extra 2 pages (total of 8) can be purchased at registration time (see the registration form for pricing).
  • Please select a category from the drop-down menu. If you cannot find the right category in the drop-down menu then please enter a category for your paper at the end of the summary. We need this information when determining reviewers for your paper.
  • Submissions, refereeing, and all correspondence will be conducted by e-mail.
  • No-show policy / The paper may be excluded from Xplore and the CSDL if you don’t appear at the conference. Also, no-show papers are not recommended in the post-conference publications.

All papers must be submitted through our Conference Management System.

To submit a paper for review follow these steps:

  1. Create an EasyChair account.
  2. Login to the conference
  3. Go to the New Submissions Tab
  4. Fill out necessary information.

The program committee will review each submission and judge it with respect to its originality, significance, readability/organization, references and technical quality.

Workshop 1:

The 1st International Workshop on Frontier of Information Sciences and Arts (FoISA-2017)

workshop chair : Minoru Uehara, Toyo University, JAPAN

“Electricity is sometimes called energy currency” – if so, information may be the language of sciences. Information Science (or Informatics) is applied to varied fields. Indeed, we can communicate with each other using the knowledge of information science and technology. Applied fields are widely spread. Therefore, the frontier is always state-of-the-arts.
This workshop aims to organize human network of researchers, engineers and students in varied different fields.

Hamamatsu is located half way between Tokyo and Osaka and is situated at the center of Japan. The city’s industrial and tourist activities take advantage of this central location. Bordered by the ocean, a river, mountains and a lake, Hamamatsu offers its residents and visitors various seasonal sceneries and leisure activities. Local cuisines exemplified by eel (or “unagi”) dishes and Hamamatsu gyoza (Chinese style dumplings) also attract visitors from around Japan. Hamamatsu is a perfect destination to stop at before or after a visit to Mt. Fuji.
